Rewards Terms & Conditions
The rules of the Be One Kind Rewards program, including the 250-point welcome bonus.
Last updated: 2 September 2026 · v4
You accept these terms when you register. Ticking the box on the registration form and creating an account is your agreement to this page in full, to our Privacy Policy, and to the programme rules they refer to. If you do not accept them, do not register.
Not having read them is not a defence. The full text is here before you sign up, it stays at a permanent public address, it is linked from the box you tick, and it is written in plain English on purpose so that there is nothing to decode. We will not ask you to prove you read it, and we will not excuse a breach because you did not. If you read only one section, read section 3 — it is the one that costs people their balance.
We keep a record of what you accepted. When you register we store the version of these terms in force at that moment and the date you accepted it. If we change them materially we email the address on your account and say what changed.
1. No purchase is necessary
Be One Kind Rewards is free to join. You do not have to buy anything to create an account, and you do not have to buy anything to receive the 250-point welcome bonus. The welcome bonus is a gift from Be One Kind to people who join the program — it is not a payment, a rebate, a discount on a purchase, or an offer conditioned on buying any product.
The welcome bonus is awarded on accounts opened with a verified Be One Kind entry code — an ambassador’s personal referral code or link, or a Be One Kind QR code that we have issued and can verify as genuine, such as those on dispensary displays, at events, and in our own campaigns. Neither requires a purchase: an ambassador code costs nothing, and any member who has bought and scanned once can issue you one.
The Thank You card inside a pack is not a welcome-bonus code. Scanning it registers you and earns the fifty (50) point scan for that pack, exactly as it does for every member on every pack. It does not carry the 250, because the person scanning it has already bought.
Opening an account without a verified entry code creates a valid Rewards account that earns on every other route, but it does not carry the 250-point welcome bonus. A code we cannot verify as genuine and issued by us — a photograph or screenshot of someone else’s QR, a reposted image, an altered or expired code — earns nothing.
Points are a promotional loyalty currency. They are not money, not a security, and not a stored-value or gift card. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be bought, sold, traded or transferred between accounts.
2. Who can join
To open an account and earn or redeem points you must:
- Be 21 years of age or older;
- Be a legal resident of Colorado, and maintain residency in Colorado while participating;
- Register using your real legal name as it appears on your government-issued ID;
- Provide a valid email address that you personally control;
- Provide your true date of birth;
- Provide a current residential address.
Employees of Be One Kind and members of their immediate households may hold accounts but are not eligible for the welcome bonus.
3. One account per person — and we mean one
Each person may hold exactly one Be One Kind Rewards account, and may claim the welcome bonus once in their lifetime. This is not one per email address, one per phone number, or one per device. It is one per human being.
The following all count as duplicate accounts and are prohibited:
- Registering a second account under a variation of your name, a middle name, a maiden name, a nickname or a misspelling;
- Registering additional accounts using other email addresses, phone numbers, or devices you control;
- Registering in the name of a family member, partner, housemate or friend, or letting someone else register on your behalf, where the account is in fact used by you;
- Using another person’s identity, ID, or details for any part of registration;
- Operating accounts on behalf of another person in exchange for a share of points or rewards.
If we identify duplicate accounts, the welcome bonus is forfeited on every one of them — including the original. All accounts involved may be suspended, and all points and unredeemed rewards on them cancelled.
To identify duplicates we may compare names, addresses, dates of birth, email addresses, phone numbers, payment details, devices, and network information across accounts. The decision is ours to make, on the evidence we hold — but you can appeal it. Section 13 sets out how, and the decision on that appeal is final.
Read this before you register a second account.
We do not check every account at sign-up. We check when it matters — at identity verification, at redemption, and when a prize is awarded. That can be weeks or months after you register, and long after you have built up a balance you care about.
If that check finds you hold more than one account, every account linked to you is cancelled — not just the newest one. Every point on every one of them is lost, including points you earned honestly on your original account. Unredeemed rewards are void, and you are permanently barred from the programme and from future promotions.
You can appeal that decision and we will look at it properly — section 13 sets out how, and it applies to everybody. But an appeal is a second look at the evidence, not a negotiation. If it does not go your way there is no partial credit and no transfer of a balance to a surviving account. Points have no cash value and nothing is refunded.
So before you create another account: think carefully. A second account risks everything on your first one. If you are unsure whether an account already exists in your name, or you have lost access to one, email [email protected] and we will sort it out with you — that route costs you nothing.
4. Identity verification
Be One Kind reserves the right to verify the identity and age of any member, at any time, as a condition of earning or redeeming points.
If we ask you to verify, you must provide, within fourteen (14) days of our request:
- A clear image of a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID showing your name, date of birth and photograph;
- Confirmation of the residential address on your account; and
- Any other information we reasonably need to confirm that the account belongs to you and that you are 21 or older.
The name and date of birth on your ID must match the name and date of birth on your account. If they do not, or if you do not respond within fourteen days, the account may be suspended and its points and rewards forfeited until verification is completed.
How we handle your ID. We use identity documents solely to confirm your identity and age. We do not sell them, we do not use them for marketing, and we retain them only as long as needed to complete verification and to keep a record that verification took place. Wherever possible we record only the fact and date of verification rather than the document itself.
5. Keeping your information current
Your account information must be accurate and current for as long as you participate.
If your legal name, residential address, email address or phone number changes, you must update your account within three (3) months of the change. You can do this yourself in your account settings, or by emailing [email protected].
Out-of-date information is not treated as fraud — but we may be unable to verify you, unable to reach you before points expire, and unable to issue a reward to the correct address. If information is materially out of date and we cannot contact you to correct it, we may suspend the account until it is brought up to date.
6. False information
Points are granted on the understanding that the information on your account is true. If we find that a name, date of birth, address or contact detail is false, altered, or belongs to someone else:
- the welcome bonus and any other points on the account will not be granted, and any already granted will be removed;
- any unredeemed rewards or vouchers issued from that account are void;
- we may suspend or permanently close the account; and
- we may decline to allow that person to participate in Be One Kind Rewards or any future Be One Kind promotion.
An honest mistake is not the same as a false statement. If you entered something incorrectly, correct it in your account settings or email [email protected]. We would far rather fix an error than close an account.
7. Earning points
Points are earned at the rates published on the Rewards page. Earning rates, caps and bonus promotions are set by Be One Kind and may change at any time. Promotional and bonus point offers may carry their own conditions, date windows and limits, which are stated with the offer.
Product feedback is unlocked by your own purchases only. A review of a given Walker becomes available on your account only after you have bought that Walker and scanned the unique QR code on the Thank You card inside that pack. Each purchase unlocks the review for that Walker only.
One rewarded review for every qualifying purchase you make and scan. One verified qualifying purchase plus one successful unique QR scan unlocks one rewarded review. The entitlement follows the number of purchases you have scanned, not which Walker you bought — five scans unlock five reviews, and those five packs may be the same Walker, different Walkers, or any mix.
A maximum of five (5) rewarded reviews per calendar year, at fifty (50) points each, so two hundred and fifty (250) points per calendar year is the maximum obtainable from reviews on any account. An unused review entitlement must correspond to an actual verified qualifying purchase and scan. Purchases made by customers you referred, referral points, promotional points, and any other points route do not unlock a review. Reviews submitted for a Walker you have not bought and scanned earn no points and may be removed.
Store suggestions are for stores that do not already carry us. The fifty (50) point store-suggestion reward is available only to a registered member with a verified account, and only for a licensed retailer in an eligible state that does not stock Be One Kind at the time the suggestion is made. We verify the store before points are awarded. A suggestion naming a retailer that already carries Be One Kind, that is already on our Where to Buy list, or that is not licensed in an eligible state, earns no points.
Each awarded suggestion is opened by a qualifying purchase you made and scanned. One scanned pack opens one suggestion: buy and scan four packs and you may be awarded four suggestions, buy and scan twelve and you may be awarded twelve. Scans made by a member you referred pay you referral points but do not open suggestions for you, and no other earning route opens them.
Twelve awarded suggestions per member per calendar year. That is the ceiling however many packs you buy — twelve awards, 600 points. You may send more than twelve; only the first twelve we approve in the year are awarded. A suggestion that earns nothing does not use up one of your twelve — the allowance is spent by an award, not by an attempt. The same retailer cannot be awarded twice, to you or to anyone else.
Referral points are for introducing other people, not yourself. A referral earns points only where the referred member is a different person acting independently. The following earn nothing, and points already awarded for them are reversed:
- Using your own referral code, or a code belonging to an account you also control;
- Referrals between accounts that share a household address, a device, or a payment method;
- Reciprocal or circular referrals — two or more accounts referring each other, in any arrangement or sequence;
- Offering money, points, goods or a share of rewards to induce someone to register through your code;
- Registering someone who does not know they have been registered, or completing registration on their behalf.
Referral points follow the purchase. They are awarded on a referred member’s verified qualifying purchase and scan — never on their sign-up alone. If that purchase is later refunded, voided or reversed, the referral points awarded for it are reversed too, on both accounts.
Where we find a pattern of self-referral, ambassador status may be withdrawn and every referral point on the account cancelled, whether or not each individual referral can be shown to be improper.
Points awarded in error, or as a result of a technical fault, fraud, or a violation of these terms, may be reversed.
The birthday gift is paid only to a complete, verified profile. One hundred and fifty (150) points land on your birthday each year, with nothing to buy and nothing to claim — but only where the account carries your legal first and last name, your date of birth, your full postal address and a verified email address, and you must have acknowledged that this is your only Be One Kind account. We check those details against the account before the gift is issued. If anything is missing, incomplete or does not match, the birthday gift is not paid, and it is not paid retrospectively once the profile is corrected: the next gift is the following year.
Your date of birth is also how we confirm you are 21 or older. It is set once at registration and cannot be edited afterwards — contact us if it needs correcting.
8. Points expiry
Points expire twelve (12) months after the day they are earned. Each award — a scan, a review, the welcome bonus, a birthday gift, a store suggestion, a referral — carries its own expiry date twelve months out. Points do not all expire together, and later activity does not extend the life of points you earned earlier.
When you redeem, your oldest points are spent first. That is deliberate: it means redeeming protects the points closest to expiring, and a member who redeems as they go loses nothing.
Your account shows what is expiring soon, with the amount and the date, and we will email a reminder to the address on your account before points are due to expire. Expired points cannot be reinstated.
Redeem as you go rather than banking. At five hundred (500) points a reward is available; points held past twelve months are lost whether or not the account is active.
9. Redeeming points
Rewards, their point costs and any conditions attached to them are published on the Rewards page and may change. Some rewards require a minimum number of verified product scans before they can be claimed.
The one-thousand (1,000) point reward is a single item. It covers one hundred per cent (100%) of the price of one item of merchandise, up to a maximum item value of sixty dollars ($60), plus standard shipping. One item — not a basket, not two items to the same value, and it cannot be split across orders or combined with another merchandise discount.
Merchandise rewards apply to the item price only. Shipping and applicable taxes are not covered and remain payable by you.
In-store rewards are redeemed at participating licensed retailers. Be One Kind does not sell cannabis products directly to consumers. In-store rewards are available only at retailers that choose to participate, only while that retailer participates, only to customers who are 21 or older with valid ID, and are subject to all applicable state and local law and to each retailer’s own policies and available stock. A retailer may decline any transaction.
One redemption per day. You may redeem at most one $0.01 pack in any calendar day. Points beyond that are not lost, but they queue: a balance worth ten packs is ten separate visits on ten different days. Because every award expires twelve months from the day it lands, a balance larger than you can redeem inside a year will partly expire — redeem as you go rather than banking.
Rewards are not returnable, refundable or exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
10. Referral rewards (Brand Ambassador program)
Who can take part. Ambassador status turns on the moment you buy one qualifying pack and scan the card inside it — that is the whole requirement. Joining through someone else’s code does not confer it: you may hold the welcome bonus, your birthday gift and your own scan points, but you cannot refer anyone until you have bought and scanned a pack yourself. Any member who has done so may share a referral link or QR code. There is no application, no follower requirement and no fee. To keep an active code you must record at least one verified scan in every rolling six-month period — two a year, and they must be spread, not taken together: each scan covers the six months from its own day, so one pack in each half of the year keeps you good for the full twelve. A code that misses a six-month window lapses that day. While it is lapsed you earn nothing from anyone you referred, however active they are; their own points are unaffected. We will email you before a code lapses, and a lapsed code is restored by your next verified scan — but points missed while it was lapsed are not paid retrospectively.
Thirty referred customers is the ceiling. One ambassador may hold up to thirty (30) referred customers at any time. There is no limit on what those customers buy: each may scan as many qualifying packs as they wish and every one of those scans pays you 50 points. A friend buying one pack a month is 50 a month to you; two packs is 100; four is 200.
What earns. When a person joins through your link or code and later makes a qualifying purchase and scans the card inside, you earn 50 points and they earn 50 points. Your ambassador points are awarded on the verified purchase and scan, never on the sign-up itself — the 250-point welcome bonus in clause 1 is theirs, not yours, and is separate from this. There is no cap on how many qualifying purchases a referred customer may make, or on how many times you may be paid for them, while the program runs. The ceiling is on how many referred customers you may hold at one time — thirty (30), as set out below.
One level only. You earn on the qualifying purchases of people who joined through your own link or code, and on nothing else. There are no levels, no downline, and no earnings from the people your referrals refer.
The connection does not move. A customer can be introduced once. Once made, that connection does not expire and is not re-assigned to another member.
No cash. Ambassador Points are Loyalty Points. They are not wages, commission, or consideration of any kind, they have no cash value, and they cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for money. They are redeemed only as set out in clause 9.
Disclosure is required. If you promote Be One Kind anywhere in exchange for these rewards you must clearly disclose that you earn points when someone uses your code, in the promotion itself. You must share your code only with people who are 21 or older and legally able to purchase cannabis where they are, and you must not make earnings, health, therapeutic or medical claims on our behalf. Failure to do so may result in withdrawal of ambassador status and cancellation of referral points on the account.
Self-referral. Referring yourself, or accounts you control, is not permitted. Where we find a pattern of self-referral, ambassador status may be withdrawn and every referral point on the account cancelled, whether or not each individual referral can be shown to be improper.
The program can change. The referral program may be varied, suspended or ended for everyone at once on notice, as set out in clause 13. Nothing here is a promise of income.
11. Your information and your privacy
To run this program we collect and process the information described in section 2, together with a record of your points activity — which product codes you scan, when, and where you tell us you bought them.
We use that information to operate the program: to verify eligibility and age, to grant and track points, to prevent fraud and duplicate accounts, to send you program communications, and to understand which products and retailers our members use.
We do not sell your personal information. Program data may be shared with service providers who operate parts of the program on our behalf, and with the affiliated apparel company that fulfils merchandise rewards, solely so that a reward you claim can be fulfilled.
You may access, correct, delete or export your information, or withdraw from the program, at any time from your account or by emailing [email protected]. Deleting your account deletes your points balance, and points cannot be restored afterwards. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
12. Suspension, closure and forfeiture
We may suspend or close an account, and forfeit its points and any unredeemed rewards, if we reasonably believe the account has been used to give false information, hold duplicate accounts, obtain or attempt to obtain points by any method other than those published, resell or transfer points or rewards, or otherwise abuse the program.
Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Where fraud is clear, we may act immediately.
Points are forfeited without compensation if your account is closed, by you or by us.
A mistake and a scheme are not the same thing, and we do not treat them the same. An old address, a duplicate created by accident, a code shared by someone who had not understood the rule — these are corrected, and you keep your account.
Setting out to cheat the programme is different, and it is permanent. Registering invented people or accounts in names that are not yours; using another person’s identity; farming accounts to harvest welcome bonuses or referral points; using bots, scripts or automated sign-ups; copying, reusing or circulating QR codes from packs you did not buy; coordinating with other people to do any of it; or selling or trading points, codes or accounts. If we find you have done any of these deliberately, your account is closed, every point on it is cancelled, and you are barred from Be One Kind Rewards and from every future Be One Kind promotion — permanently. Not for a season. For good.
A permanent bar attaches to the person, not to the email address. Registering again after being barred is itself a breach, and the new account is closed when we identify it — which is usually at redemption, by which point there is a balance on it you care about.
What a ban does not touch. Anything you have already bought and been given is yours. We cancel points and unredeemed rewards, which are promotional, have no cash value and are not money. We do not claw back products you paid a licensed retailer for, and we do not ask for anything back.
13. Your right to appeal
Every decision we make about your account can be appealed, by anybody, once. That includes a suspension, a closure, a forfeited balance, a refused welcome bonus, a cancelled referral and a permanent bar. There is no class of member and no kind of finding that is excluded from this.
How to appeal. Email [email protected] with Appeal in the subject line and the email address on the account, within thirty (30) days of the date we notify you of the decision. Tell us what you believe we got wrong and include anything that supports it. There is no form to fill in, no particular form of words, and no need for a lawyer.
What we do with it. The account is looked at again from the evidence rather than from the first conclusion — and wherever there is more than one of us, by someone who did not make the original decision. We will tell you what we found and why we decided as we did, in enough detail for you to understand it and answer it. We will not set out the specific signals we use to detect duplicate and fraudulent accounts, because publishing those would simply tell the next person how to work around them. You will have a written answer within fourteen (14) days of us receiving your appeal.
While the appeal is open, the account stays suspended but points are held, not cancelled, so that nothing is destroyed before the appeal has been decided. If the appeal succeeds, the account and its full balance are restored, and points you would have earned in the meantime are credited.
And then it is settled. The decision on appeal is our final determination. It is made on our own investigation and on the records we hold, and we cannot reopen the same facts a second time. If genuinely new evidence appears afterwards, write to us anyway and we will consider whether it changes anything — but that is a courtesy we may extend, not a second appeal you are entitled to.
Nothing in this section removes any right you have under Colorado or federal law, or prevents you from raising the matter with a regulator or a court. This is our internal process; it is not a substitute for one and it is not a waiver of anything.
14. Changes to the program
Be One Kind may change these terms, change earning rates and reward tiers, or end the program entirely, at any time. If we end the program we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email to the address on your account so you have an opportunity to redeem your balance. Continuing to use the program after a change means you accept it.
15. General
The program is void where prohibited. It is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
Questions: [email protected].
These terms are a plain-English draft prepared for Be One Kind and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have Colorado counsel review them before publication, particularly sections 2, 4, 9 and 10 — identity documents and in-store redemption carry the most exposure — and sections 3, 12 and 13, which set out forfeiture, the permanent bar and the appeal that now has to sit alongside them.
