Anyone Can Be a Brand Ambassador — That's the Point
Most brand ambassador programs in this industry start by asking you a question you can't control the answer to: how many followers do you have?
You apply. Someone checks your reach. If the number is big enough you get a discount code, a box of samples and a content schedule. If it isn't, you hear nothing. The programme was never really about whether you liked the product — it was about whether you came with an audience attached.
We built ours the other way round. If you buy Be One Kind and you'd tell a friend about it, you're already qualified. There is no application, no follower minimum, no contract, and no content you owe us.
Why a small brand does it this way
Here's the honest commercial reason, because it's more convincing than a mission statement.
Cannabis is a shelf business. A regulated market means no national advertising the way other consumer brands get it, no shipping direct to customers, and a buyer at each dispensary deciding which brands get the space. Big producers win that fight with volume, margin and rep visits. A brand our size cannot outspend anyone for attention.
What we can do is make something worth mentioning, and then make sure the person who mentions it isn't doing it for free. A recommendation from someone who actually smoked the product beats anything we could buy. Paying for that recommendation, rather than paying an agency to simulate it, is the cheapest honest marketing available to us — and it puts the money in a customer's hands instead of a media buyer's.
What actually happens
Create an account and you get a QR code that belongs to you. Share it. When someone joins through it, they're linked to you.
From then on, every time that person buys a qualifying Be One Kind product and scans the Thank You card inside the pack, they earn 50 points and you earn 50 points. Not once — every qualifying purchase, with no cap on how many you collect.
The link is made once, and it holds
This is the part worth understanding properly. A customer can only be introduced once. The moment someone joins through your code, that connection is made and no other ambassador can ever claim them — there is no re-assignment, no expiry on the link, and no window that quietly closes while you aren't looking.
So if they're still buying two years from now and still scanning their cards, you're still earning on every one of those purchases. The sign-up was the only thing that had to happen.
The honest caveat: the link has no time limit, but the programme does not run forever by law of nature. We can change it or end it — for everyone at once, on notice, as set out in the Rewards Terms. What can't happen is your customer being taken off you and handed to somebody else. That connection is yours for as long as the programme runs.
Twenty friends making one purchase each is 1,000 points to you. It's also 1,000 points spread across them, which matters: this isn't a scheme where the person doing the recommending takes something off the person being recommended to. Both sides are better off than they would have been.
The part most programs leave out
Being an ambassador doesn't stop you being a customer. Buy a pack yourself, scan your own Thank You card, and you earn the same 50 points as anybody else. Review a Walker you've bought and scanned, and that's another 50. The two ways of earning sit on top of each other rather than replacing one another.
What this is not
Worth being direct about, because "brand ambassador" gets used loosely.
It is not a job. You aren't employed by us, you have no quota, and there is nothing to lose by ignoring it for six months.
It is not a recruitment scheme. You earn on purchases, never on sign-ups. Introducing a hundred people who never buy anything pays exactly nothing. There are no levels, no downline, and no earnings from the people your referrals refer — one level, tied to real transactions.
It is not an income promise. Points are points. They redeem for merchandise in our shop, or for a 3.5g pack for 1¢ at a participating Colorado dispensary. They have no cash value and we don't pretend otherwise.
It is not a licence to sell. Cannabis is sold by licensed retailers, not by you and not by us. You're pointing people at a brand, not moving product.
Who it suits
Anyone 21 or older with a Be One Kind account who genuinely rates the product. That's the whole list.
In practice the people it works best for aren't influencers — they're the person whose friends already ask what they're smoking. A budtender's regular. Someone who brings a pack to a fire pit and passes the box around. That recommendation was happening anyway. This just means it counts for something.
One account per person, for life, and the usual eligibility and verification rules apply — both are covered in the Rewards Terms. If you want the mechanics laid out with a calculator you can move, that's on the Brand Ambassador page.
Smoke better, not more. And if you tell someone why — take the points.
